Bon Jovi, Brad Paisley Doing Free Concerts For The Gulf
Rock band Bon Jovi and country singer Brad Paisley are giving free concerts next month for Alabama's "Concerts For The Coast." The free shows are meant to bring attention back to Alabama Gulf Coast tourism. Bon Jovi is performing on Friday, October 15th and Paisley is playing on Sunday, October 17th. Both concerts will be free to the public but do require tickets. The shows will take place at Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft says, quote, "Bring your beach blanket and enjoy two incredible concerts on the pristine white sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama." In July, "Jimmy Buffet & Friends: Live from The Gulf Coast" attracted 35-thousand concert goers to Gulf Shores' public beach. Coming up on September 25th, country singers Gretchen Wilson and Hank Williams Jr. will perform at The Wharf in Orange Beach. |
