Papa Roach Take Time To Give Back
Papa Roach is on a mission that recently took them to a mission. The band is continuing their association with the WHY Hunger organization by visiting the Los Angeles Mission, where on Tuesday they met with the center's clients and helped serve meals. Singer Jacoby Shaddix says nobody expects to see someone like him volunteering at a shelter or soup kitchen.
Shaddix says it's very important to give back, and notes he feels it's a personal obligation given all the blessings he's received. The rocker adds that helping out at a shelter or soup kitchen means a lot to those being served, and it can be very rewarding for the volunteers, too. To further support WHY Hunger, Shaddix recorded a PSA that appears as the hidden track on Papa Roach's new album, "Time For Annihilation," which is now in stores. |
