Slash Divorcing His Wife Of Nearly Nine Years
Slash is on his way to being single again. TMZ.com reports that the former Guns N' Roses guitarist has separated from Perla Ferrar, his wife of nearly nine years. Slash filed divorce documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday. The 45-year-old rocker cited July 15th, 2010 as the couple's separation date in court documents and "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. People.com quotes a rep for the guitarist who says, "I can confirm the divorce papers were filed and from Slash's perspective the split is amicable." Slash -- whose real name is Saul Hudson -- married Ferrar in 2001. Slash and Ferrar have two sons together, eight-year-old London and four-year-old Cash. As part of his filing, Slash is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the boys.
On the music front, Slash is playing on with a show scheduled for tonight in Aspen, Colorado. The rocker's playing Belly Up with Taking Dawn at 9:00 p.m. local time. |
