"Dancing With The Stars" Cast To Be Revealed Tonight
We'll soon find out if Julianne Hough is returning to "Dancing With the Stars." Back in May the country singer and professional dancer said she was planning to take part in the ABC reality series this fall, but she has yet to be confirmed for the show's new season. Hough's schedule for the latter half of the year is already pretty busy. Her sophomore CD "Wildfire," featuring the single "Is That So Wrong," is slated for release in November -- the same month her feature film debut, "Burlesque," is scheduled to hit theaters. In addition, Hough is working on the film remake of "Footloose." The cast for the eleventh season of "Dancing With the Stars" will be revealed during Monday night's episode of ABC's "Bachelor Pad." "Dancing With the Stars" will launch its new season on September 20th.
Hough has participated in five seasons of "Dancing With the Stars." She began her run as one of the show's professional dance partners in March 2007, and was a back-to-back winner in her first two seasons. She took the mirrorball trophy with Apolo Anton Ohno in season four and with Helio Castroneves in season five. In her final season on the show Hough was paired with her then-boyfriend, country crooner Chuck Wicks. They finished the competition in sixth place. She left "Dancing" after the eighth season in the spring of 2009 so she could focus her attention on her music career. |
