Laryngitis Forces Garfunkel To Reschedule East Coast Dates
Art Garfunkel is rescheduling East Coast concerts canceled over the weekend. "Foster's Daily Democrat" reports that laryngitis forced the singer to move performances in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Newark, New Jersey to later this year. The 68-year-old was scheduled to play Portsmouth's Music Hall on Friday and Newark's Prudential Hall on Saturday. Now the Portsmouth date is pushed back to November 3rd and the Newark show is rescheduled for June 18th, according to Garfunkel's website.
In related news, Garfunkel is ramping up to a North American tour with Paul Simon that will launch at the end of next month. Simon & Garfunkel's "Old Friends In Concert" will kick off at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Saturday, April 24th. |
