Snoop Dogg, Hole Play Perez Hilton's SXSW Party
Rapper Snoop Dogg was joined at Perez Hilton's South By Southwest party by an unlikely guest -- Courtney Love. Hilton held his annual SXSW party Saturday night in Austin, Texas, where the previously-announced Snoop played a set. MTV.com reports the rapper played a cover of House of Pain's "Jump Around," as well as his own tracks "Gin and Juice," "Drop It Like It's Hot," "The Next Episode," and "What's My Name?" Hilton's handpicked newcomers Alphabeat, Marina and the Diamonds, and V.V. Brown were also there as announced late last week. But the surprise of the night came when Courtney Love and her band, Hole, took to the stage. Love began her set with a tribute to Alex Chilton by playing Big Star's "Thirteen." She and her band then launched into their best-known songs, "Pretty On The Inside" and "Miss World." |
