PCD's Nicole Scherzinger "Decks" DWTS Partner Derek Hough
"Dancing With The Stars" pro Derek Hough is sporting a shiner courtesy of Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger. The mishap apparently came about while the two were rehearsing for the upcoming season of the hit ABC celebrity ballroom dance competition. According to People.com, when Hough's former partner, Brooke Burke, came to visit him at his rehearsal studio, he joked with her about the bruise from Scherzinger. The professional dancer told Burke, quote, "She found out you were coming on the show and she got jealous. She decked me in the face." Burke is returning to "DWTS" this season to co-host with Tom Bergeron. She and Hough won the dance competition together during the show's seventh season.
Hough's new partner is working on creating a new Pussycat Dolls album in addition to taking on "DWTS." Scherzinger said earlier this month, quote, "I've been in the studio working on music non-stop. We're going to have another Pussycat Dolls album...but that's going to be late this year." The new season of "Dancing With The Stars" premieres Monday, March 22nd on ABC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. |
