Donny And Marie Cancel Vegas Shows This Week
Marie Osmond needs more time to grieve. People.com reports that the singer and her brother Donny are taking more time off from their Las Vegas show at The Flamingo. They've cancelled shows through the end of this week, and more dates might be bumped. Marie's publicist Alan Nierob explains, quote, "She needs to spend more time with her family. She's still processing everything and it's really rough on her." The Osmonds returned to the Vegas stage on March 9th, just one day after the funeral for Marie's son, Michael Blosil. The 18-year-old committed suicide in late February by jumping from the balcony of his high rise Los Angeles apartment. A rep for The Flamingo confirmed that Donny and Marie are expected to return to the stage next Tuesday. |
