Cooper, Rollins In Vampire Film At SXSW
A vampire film starring the likes of Alice Cooper and Henry Rollins is screening at South By Southwest this year. The campy feature -- called "Suck -- is playing at the film portion South By Southwest in Austin, Texas tomorrow night. "Suck" centers on Joey Winner, a struggling musician who fronts a down-on-its luck band with no fans. Cooper plays an eccentric bartender who gives Joey some unusual advice for dealing with his troubles. Rollins plays "Rockin' Roger." Malcolm McDowell, Moby, Iggy Pop, and Alex Lifeson also make appearances. "Suck" will premiere at South by Southwest tomorrow night at the Alamo Ritz at 11:59 p.m. local time. |
