Blake Shelton Enjoying Crowd Response To "Hillbilly Bone"
Blake Shelton says he's thrilled at how involved fans get when he performs "Hillbilly Bone" in concert. He notes there's one part of the song he's never sung on stage.
Shelton adds that along with "yee haw," fans are also fond of the line "F-150 and a 30-aught-six." He jokes that given how fans react to the song, he knows he'll be able to give his voice a little break during the song. Shelton's fans in Nashville will get the chance to sing along with him this week. Shelton will be playing his first headlining concert at the Ryman Auditorium Thursday night.
Shelton recorded "Hillbilly Bone" with Trace Adkins. The song is among the nominees for the Musical Event of the Year at next month's Academy of Country Music Awards. The song is also a chart-topper. It's at number one this week on both the Billboard country singles chart and the MediaBase/Country Aircheck chart. |
