Michaels, Lauper Step Up As Managers On Trump's "Apprentice"
Two music stars stepped up as project managers on the season premiere of "The Celebrity Apprentice" on NBC on Sunday night. Poison rocker Bret Michaels led the reality show's men's team, called "Rocksolid." Grammy-winning pop star Cyndi Lauper managed the women, team "Tenacity." The two-hour season premiere featured a challenge that had the celebrities serving up food to busy New Yorkers at diners at two separate locations. While Lauper and her teammates -- including Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager Sharon -- hustled to bring in business and tips, Rocksolid took all. Project Manager Bret Michaels won 100-thousand-dollars for his charity of choice, American Diabetes Association. Tenacity's loss led to the firing of Lauper's teammate, comedienne Carol Leifer. |
