Danny Gokey Credits Dad's Encouragement For His Career
While Danny Gokey launched his career as an "American Idol" finalist," the singer says his journey started much closer to home. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native credits his dad for giving him the courage he needed to pursue his dream.
Gokey saw his debut album arrive in stores this week. He's been supporting his CD "My Best Days" with a variety of concerts, radio station visits, and in-store appearances. He also made his return to the "American Idol" stage Thursday night to perform his single "My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me." Gokey will be visiting the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota Friday evening. He'll be on hand to meet fans and sign his CD as well as perform. |
