Jon Bon Jovi To Promote Service Program On Tour
Jon Bon Jovi is adding another good deed to his resume. The rocker is promoting President Barack Obama's United We Serve initiative on his current "Circle Tour" with his band. The initiative asks the public to use its talent and energy to work on the nation's problems through service. At tonight's Bon Jovi show in Los Angeles, the band will premiere a video for the initiative. In it, Jon Bon Jovi asks his fans to consider a call to service. The 48-year-old rocker will also appear in a 60-second PSA that features images of President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama demonstrating acts of service. Patrick Covington, CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service said, quote, "This partnership is an amazing opportunity to encourage people from every corner of this country to take action and do their part to help those in need."
