This week, there is only one wide-release film, and it’s the one that everyone has been talking about. The sixth Harry Potter movie, based on J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, comes out on Wednesday, July 15.

The sixth movie based on J.K. Rowling’s best-selling series. Lord Voldemort is gaining power and his followers, the Death Eaters, are wreaking havoc on the wizarding and Muggle worlds. In the meantime, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is back at Hogwarts and preparing to finally defeat Voldemort with the help of Professor Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon). But even while danger lurks outside, the students face a different challenge – relationships and hormones threaten to make enemies out of friends and a longtime friendship turns into something more. Rated PG, 153 mins.
