Cavaliers and Charter One Host Holiday Toy Drive Provided by Cleveland Cavaliers |
| |
The Cavaliers and Charter One have joined together to present a toy drive this holiday season to help children in our community. As many parents face challenges in today’s economy as they try to provide basic needs like food for their families, a holiday toy drive will make sure children still get to experience the magic of Christmas.
There will be collection bins placed at each entrance of Quicken Loans Arena at every game. Fans are also invited to drop off toys at The Q during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at the Time Warner Cable Entrance on the corner of Ontario and Huron, or they can take toys to any Northeast Ohio Charter One Bank location.
The toys that are collected will be presented to the children from select non-profit organizations at a special holiday party at Quicken Loans Arena on December 22nd. Following the party, they will be invited to attend that evening’s performance of Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy.
“Charter One is proud to partner with the Cavaliers to make this holiday season a little brighter for children in need in our community, said Randy Stickler, President of Charter One. "We hope Cavs fans and Charter One customers will join us in donating toys at our bank branches and games.”
The Cavaliers Toy Drive, presented by Charter One, is a Cavs Season of Giving event.
