Give the Gift of Sight

In partnership with Give the Gift of Sight presented by Consolidated Graphics Group and Pearle Vision, the Cleveland Cavaliers will have collection bins set up at Quicken Loans Arena at their Saturday, November 15th game vs. the Utah Jazz at 7:30 p.m. The Cavs are encouraging fans to donate gently used eyewear that will be recycled and hand-delivered to underprivileged individuals in developing countries around the world. Fans unable to attend the game can donate their used eye glasses to local Pearle Vision locations throughout Northeast Ohio.

The collection bins are part of a larger event hat is being held at Quicken Loans Arena during the week of November 17th-21st. Over 1,000 students from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District will receive free eye exams, and many will leave that day with a new pair of prescription glasses!

Founded on the belief that clear vision is a basic right, not a luxury, Give the Gift of Sight is a family of charitable programs providing free vision care and eyewear to underprivileged individuals in North America and in developing countries around the world. These programs have helped six million people on five continents and in hundreds of communities across North America.
